Caregiver Programs

This program is for qualified caregivers to come to Canada as a Child Care Provider or a Home Support Worker.

The Home Child Care Provider Pilot and Home Support Worker Pilot are two caregiver pilots launched in June 2019. These pathways are designed for foreign nationals with work experience in NOC 4411 and NOC 4412. The main difference is that while the Home Child Care Provider Program focuses on caring for children under 18, the Home Support Worker Program supports the disabled and elderly. Foster parents and housekeepers are not eligible.
