The Self-Employed Persons program is for applicants who have the intention and ability to become self- employed in Canada. This program is applicable for self-employed people in NOC group 51(professional occupations in art and culture and NOC group 52(technical occupations in art, culture, recreation, and sports).

Requirements:

• Two 1-year periods of full-time work experience in an eligible role in the last five years
• Self employed in an eligible occupation or involvement in an eligible occupation at a world class level or both (one year of each)
• Intention and ability to self support and make a significant contribution to the specified economic activity in Canada
• Meet the selection criteria
• Police clearance certificate
• Medical examination
